1. Service Description
NEUR is an AI-powered civil case intelligence platform that provides statistical information based on historical court data, legal research tools, and document generation assistance. Our services include case strength analysis, case law research, judge analytics, and filing document templates.
2. No Legal Advice Disclaimer
NEUR does not provide legal advice and is not a law firm. All information, analysis, predictions, and documents provided through our platform are for informational and educational purposes only. Predictions are based on aggregate outcomes and historical data and do not guarantee individual results. You should consult with a licensed attorney before making any legal decisions or filing any court documents. No attorney-client relationship is created by using NEUR.
3. User Responsibilities
By using NEUR, you agree to: (a) provide accurate and truthful information about your case; (b) not rely solely on NEUR's analysis for legal decisions; (c) verify all generated documents, citations, and court information independently before use; (d) not use the platform for any unlawful purpose; and (e) not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our services.
4. AI-Generated Content
NEUR uses artificial intelligence models to generate analysis, identify relevant statutes, and create document templates. AI-generated content may contain errors, outdated information, or inaccuracies. All AI-identified statutes, case citations, and judge information should be independently verified. NEUR is not responsible for any consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated content.
5. Data Collection & Use
We collect case descriptions, answers to follow-up questions, and uploaded evidence files to provide our services. This information is processed using third-party AI services (including OpenAI) to generate analysis and documents. By using NEUR, you consent to this processing. We do not sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Case Pool - Marketplace Terms
NEUR operates an optional “Case Pool” feature in which consumers may, by explicit consent, share a redacted summary of their matter with attorneys licensed in their state. Attorneys may submit structured “Express Interest” pitches to a consumer's case. Use of Case Pool is governed by these additional terms:
(a) NEUR is not a lawyer referral service approved by any state bar and does not endorse, recommend, or vouch for any attorney's qualifications. Attorney fields, including bar numbers and licensed jurisdictions, are self-reportedand not independently verified by NEUR. Consumers are solely responsible for verifying any attorney's credentials before retaining them.
(b) NEUR's compensation is a flat platform subscription paid by attorneys. NEUR does not split or share legal fees with attorneys, does not receive contingent compensation tied to consumer engagement outcomes, and does not pay or receive referral fees.
(c) Identity release on acceptance. When a consumer accepts an attorney's pitch, the consumer's account name and email are disclosed to that one attorney; all other pitches on the same case are automatically declined. Acceptance via NEUR is not by itself an engagement agreement; the consumer and attorney must execute a separate engagement letter to establish the attorney-client relationship.
(d) No attorney-client relationship through NEUR.Reading or submitting a pitch does not create an attorney-client relationship. Attorneys participating in Case Pool agree to comply with their state's applicable rules of professional conduct, including but not limited to advertising and solicitation rules, fee-splitting prohibitions, and conflict-of-interest obligations.
(e) Attorney pitches are advertising communications within the meaning of state attorney advertising rules. Attorneys are responsible for ensuring their pitches comply with the rules of every jurisdiction in which they hold a license.
7. Limitation of Liability
NEUR is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis, prediction, generated document, attorney pitch, or attorney credential representation. In no event shall NEUR be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to missed filing deadlines, incorrect court filings, the conduct or competence of any attorney who participates in Case Pool, or adverse legal outcomes.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
